About Joburg Event Audio
Joburg Event Audio works out of Johannesburg and has spent 3 years lighting celebrations, from small private bookings through to festival main stages. Rigs are designed to the room's power and rigging points, and every show is programmed and tested before the doors open. The approach starts with what your day actually is, not with a package that has to be talked into fitting it.
A site visit covers power, rigging, sightlines and the cues that matter, so nothing important is decided on the day itself. Every booking includes a plot, a fully redundant rig and an operator on site for the whole event. Questions are answered in writing, changes to the plan are normal and cost nothing before the event, and you always know who will actually be there on the day.
Joburg Event Audio operates from Johannesburg and travels nationwide, works in fr / en and takes bookings from 1 100 000 ZAR. Enquiries are answered within 6h with an itemised written quote rather than a range. Popular dates — spring and end-of-year Saturdays especially — are typically gone eight to twelve months out. You are not charged for asking.
