For 11 years Pâtisserie Élégance has been baking for celebrations in and around Dakar, working at every scale from a family gathering in a courtyard to five-tier centrepieces. Every cake is made to order in small batches — no freezer stock, and the flavours are chosen at the tasting rather than off a card. Nothing is templated, because no two celebrations want the same thing.
A tasting covers flavours, tiers, dietary needs and how the cake is displayed. What you book includes a tasting box, a sketch of the finished cake and delivery set up on site. The plan is written down and shared, so you, your other suppliers and the venue are working from the same document — which is what stops the small things going wrong when the day gets busy.
Pâtisserie Élégance is based in Dakar and works in fr / en. Bookings start at 150 000 XOF and a written quote follows within 1h, itemised so you can see what drives the figure. Most clients book four to six months ahead; peak Saturdays go first, so earlier is safer. Nothing is owed until you accept the quote.
